Best Events, LLC, is the event production sister company of the major consumer products marketer, Advanced Marketing International, Inc. (AMI). Created in1969, AMI markets their products exclusively through trade shows and expositions. In fact, they participate in over 4,000 shows each year.

Best Events brings, to each of their shows, knowledge and experience in facility and show management, vendor procurement, and customer relations, as well as over 35 years producing, staffing and setting up consumer products exhibits in the United States and Canada.

Best Events will produce three Home and Garden events in 2007 at these locations: Monterey County Fairgrounds in April and October and at Paso Robles Fairgrounds in September.  The show, purchased from P.S. Productions who will continue to consult with Best Events, will expand from primarily residential housing contractors to consumer home and garden products and décor.

Joan Bartosik, Show Manager

With more than 20 years of experience in the event industry, Joan has overseen every aspect of commercial exhibits at major events.  Her skills and expertise range from negotiating and overseeing the Master Food Concessions contract at the San Diego County Fair (valued at over $8 million) to layout for vendors and concessions at venues throughout California.  At the El Dorado County Fair she increased exhibit revenues by 20% in two years.

Joan’s excellent reputation and relationship with vendors and food concessionaires is exemplified by the success of the Mountain Mandarin Festival, which she managed for 9 years.  During that time this small town event outgrew its “street” venue and one-day status and was moved to the Gold Country Fairgrounds in Auburn, and evolved into a 2-day major event in the foothills town of Auburn. In 2005 it attracted 30,000 visitors from throughout Northern California with more than 150 vendors selling high quality gift, art, food, and home décor items.

As Marketing Director for Advance Marketing International, sister company of Best Events LLC., Joan has negotiated, planned and coordinated exhibits at more than 100 Home and Garden Shows, Fairs, and Festivals.
